If you&#8217;ve had them before you&#8217;ll know what I am talking about. The mix makes enough for 12 pakoras making them 1 syn each. I haven&#8217;t tried them with regular potatoes but they should work with them too. Let me know if\u00a0 you try them with regular potatoes. Hope you enjoy x<\/p>\n<p>Serves: <strong>12 units<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Syns: <strong>1 syn each<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Time Taken: <strong>40 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Difficulty: <strong>Easy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"634\" height=\"357\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/El-Ra_roW5g?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-GB&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>3 red onion, finely sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 large sweet potato, grated<\/li>\n<li>75g gram flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp cumin seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp ground coriander<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp red chilli powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>Spray oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Method<\/h4>\n<p>Mix the onions and potato together so that they are evenly distributed.<\/p>\n<p>Add the gram flour (a bit at a time, you may not need all the amount) and all the spices. Mix it well again. Add the baking powder. If needed, you may add water to the batter (I don&#8217;t as there is enough moisture from the onions and potatoes).<\/p>\n<p>Spray a muffin tin with spray oil (or you can use a baking sheet instead and do them free form). Evenly distribute the mix into each muffin hole, you should have enough for 12 pakoras.
